Ilan Chamovitz is a Doctor in Production Engineering (Industrial and Technological Projects/COPPE/UFRJ). He has obtained a MSc. in Informatics (Computer in Education/IM-NCE/UFRJ) and a BA. in Business Administration (UFRJ). He also has an Executive MBA in Information and Communication Technology (ICT/FGV), Post-graduation degree in Systems Analysis(PUC/RJ) and is certified in Computer Programming (PUC/RJ).

Dr. Chamovitz has than 20 years experience in developing solutions based on systems information and computer programs for small, medium and large business. During his doctorate (2006-2010) he particularly was dedicated on studies concerning the assessment for the use of Educational Forum boards, the application of Systemic Networks technique in qualitative researches and the uses of Fuzzy Logic in Education.
PROJECTS

From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Chamovitz carried out a postdoctoral research, at MBS, studying the virtual forums and service systems. As a System Analist at Brazil Health Ministry – DATASUS, he deals with Dissemination of Information, about public health and healthcare.

The researcher also collaborates within the Corporative University of SEBRAE – The Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises encourage Brazil’s entrepreneurship and development. His teaching skills includes dealing with young students and also with experienced teachers, managers, executives and professionals, in areas such as Business Management, Strategic Planning, Computer Science, Computer in Education, Distance Learning, Technology, Information Systems, and Project Management. Some educational institutions are UFRJ – Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Fundação Getúlio Vargas, where he works as an e-tutor.

As a volunteer, Dr. Chamovitz works as CKO (Chief Knowledge Office) and consultant for Brazil Infertility and Endometriosis Association (ABENDI), and I am the webmaster of the EndoForum [1] , a space for patients’ knowledge construction
